Eligibility

Any person or institution subscribing to the purposes of the society is eligible for becoming a member of the VLSI Society of India.  The membership is open all-year round and application can be sent at any time of the year. The membership taken in a year is valid upto March 31.  For example, if you become a member on Sep 15, 2008, your membership is valid up to March 31, 2009.

Grades of Membership

VSI currently has two grades of membership:

1. Individual Membership (Students/ Non-students)

2. Corporate Membership

(Life Membership is under consideration.  Please await details.)

Individual Membership

The individual membership of the VLSI Society of India entitles you to the following:

1. Membership card

2. Substantial discount in the registration fee for all events organized by the VLSI Society of India, including the International Conference on VLSI Design and the VLSI Design & Test Symposium (VDAT)

3. Inclusion in the membership mailing list of the VSI, on which you will receive updates on the activities in the area of VLSI in India and abroad

4. Copies of VSI VISION (Periodical of the VLSI Society of India, two issues per year) mailed to your contact address

Corporate Membership

The corporate membership of the VLSI Society of India entitles you to the following:

1. Membership card

2. Proceedings of the events organised by VSI

3. Inclusion in the membership mailing list of the VSI, on which you will receive updates on the activities in the area of VSLI in India and abroad

4. Copies of VSI VISION (periondical of the VLSI Society of India, two issues per year) mailed to your contact address

How To Apply For Membership?

To become a member

1. Download and fill in the membership form (PDF 70kb) and send it along with the DD for the appropriate amount to the below address.
2. Please also submit the details in the online registration form

The DD must be made out to “VLSI Society of India” and should be payable at Bangalore.
Please write "Towards VSI Membership - New/ Renewal" at the rear side of DD.

Processing the card subject to the DD receipt. Please allow two weeks for processing.
